Terms of Use

These terms cover riskstack.org and the vendor-branded domains that point at it (for example trustlayerreviews.com), which serve the same site. By using it, you agree to them.

Who publishes RiskStack

RiskStack is published by Happiest, an independent media company, and is operated editorially independently of any vendor covered on the site. “We,” “us,” and “RiskStack” in these terms refer to that publisher.

What RiskStack is

RiskStack publishes independent research and comparison data on COI tracking software. Our assessments are opinion, formed from public information, customer and broker interviews, and hands-on feature audits. They are not statements of fact about any vendor, not professional advice, and not a substitute for your own evaluation, procurement process, or legal and insurance counsel.

Software changes constantly. Pricing, integrations, ownership, and capability descriptions may be out of date by the time you read them. Verify anything material directly with the vendor before you rely on it.

Independence

We do not accept payment from vendors for ranking placement, quadrant position, recommendation order, or favorable coverage. Claiming a profile is free and does not change any editorial assessment. If that ever changes — if we introduce paid placement of any kind — it will be labeled on the page where it appears.

Trademarks and vendor names

TrustLayer, myCOI, Certificial, Jones, EvidentID, Veriforce, bcs, SmartCompliance, and all other product and company names are the trademarks of their respective owners. We use them nominatively to identify and comment on the products they refer to. Their use here does not imply affiliation, sponsorship, or endorsement in either direction, including on vendor-branded domains that point at this site.

Vendor profile claims

Vendors may claim their profile. Claiming lets a verified representative publish a company statement, link to their site, and submit factual corrections. It does not let anyone edit our strengths and weaknesses assessment, quadrant position, or recommendation order.

• We verify claims against an email address on the vendor’s own domain. We may decline or reverse a claim at our discretion.
• By submitting a statement you confirm you are authorized to speak for the company, that the statement is accurate and not misleading, and that you grant us a non-exclusive right to publish it on the site.
• Published vendor statements are clearly attributed to the vendor. They are the vendor’s own words, not ours, and they are not endorsements by RiskStack.
• We may edit a statement for length or formatting, or decline to publish one, and we may remove it at any time.

Corrections

We want to be accurate. Anyone — vendor, customer, competitor, or reader — can send a correction to hello@riskstack.org. Point to the specific claim and what you believe the correct information is. Factual errors get fixed. Disagreements with our opinions may not, but we’ll consider the argument and will publish a vendor’s response where it’s warranted.

Uploaded content

If you upload a vendor quote for analysis, you confirm you have the right to share it. Its text is sent to a third-party AI provider for parsing — see the Privacy Policy before uploading anything confidential. The analysis is an automated estimate and may be wrong; check the numbers against your actual quote.

Acceptable use

Don’t scrape the site at a volume that degrades it, misrepresent yourself when claiming a profile, submit false information, or republish our research wholesale as your own. Quoting us with attribution and a link is welcome.

No warranty; limitation of liability

The site and everything on it is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, RiskStack is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content, including software purchasing decisions.

Third-party links

We link to vendor sites and other external resources. We don’t control them and aren’t responsible for their content or practices.

Changes

We may update these terms; the “last updated” date above will reflect it. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms.
